If you haven't seen any episodes of Deadwood yet, this may not be the best advertisement for it. If you can't handle the "f" word, do not watch this. If you can, rock on.
i will tell you this...it doesn't really start to get good until the second season. but that's when it turns into straight crack and you won't see sunshine for two weeks straight.
it's not even the word "fuck" that kills me with its over usage, though...it's the word "cocksucker". it's everywhere...even where it shouldn't be.
The second season is nothing compared to the third. I am totally bummed that it's almost over for us. We only have two episodes left. I need a new show...
New show, eh? Well Dexter is out on DVD, as is Brotherhood. I'd pick Dexter before Brotherhood though, its more entertaining. Both are good. Then there's always the 800,000 episodes of X Files. Undeclared and Freaks and Geeks are great. Weeds. I would say Big Love, but you already watch that. The Office. The Simpsons.
I do recommend West Wing - it's amazing.... there are a ton of amazing shows though - any of the ones Ashley recommended sound awesome (I've only seen half of them)...

season 2 was very good - it made me a little sick at times though.... but I couldn't stop watching... I had to know what was coming next.
